Be a part of something out of this world and help us find the name for the Omega Envoy Rover!
Just follow the rules and regulations and then submit your two minute “video response” to the promotional video you see here. The competition is open until the end of July, finalists will be announced shortly after that and the contest will choose a grand winner by a public poll. The winner will have the honor of having his/her name on the rover!
Omega Envoy is proud to announce the kick off to our high school involvement program. We have an open invitation to all high schools to form teams to compete in the Lunar Lander Eggs Prize competition at the International Space Developers Conference 2009 in Orlando, Fl. on Saturday, May 30th.
Teams will build a “Lunar Lander” capable of holding an egg and surviving a free fall from some height.
Prizes include VIP passes to an upcoming Shuttle Launch and Visitor passes to Kennedy Space Center.
Registration will be limited to the first 30 teams to apply. The registration fee will not only give the team of 5 students, a teacher/advisor, and one chaperone access to the event but also to the entire conference for Saturday, May 30th, 2009. The ISDC planning committee is kindly making the registration extremely low for each team. Extra incentives may apply to all Florida teams (ask for details).
At this point the Registration forms are not available, however, to reserve a spot please email Jason Dunn at jdunn@omegaenvoy.org.
Be sure to make the subject line of the email: “LLEP Team Registration Request.”
By registering a team you must agree to the Rules and Guidelines.
To officially register please submit the registration form and fee. Please note, registration is currently still open, sign up a team today!
